Last updated: 2nd November 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

PIVOTERS CLUB ("we", "us", "our") is an online platform operated by Pivoters Club Oy, 3558251-4, Kolmas Linja 1 C 54, 00530 Helsinki. ("the Platform"). The Platform offers guided inner work practices, including breathwork, tapping (emotional freedom technique), and journalling, delivered as audio, video, written prompts and related digital content.

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Not medical or therapeutic advice

The Platform is for personal development and general wellbeing. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, counselling, or crisis support, and it is not a substitute for any of these.

  • We do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

  • Our facilitators and content creators are not licensed therapists. Nothing on the Platform creates a therapist–client or doctor–patient relationship.

  • If you are in therapy or under medical care, please speak with your practitioner before beginning any practice here.

  • If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis service immediately. The Platform is not able to provide emergency support.

3. Health and safety

Inner work can bring up strong physical sensations and emotions. You take part voluntarily and are responsible for looking after yourself.

Breathwork. Breathwork practices can change your heart rate, blood pressure, and blood chemistry, and may cause dizziness, tingling, lightheadedness, or intense emotional release. Do not practise breathwork if you:

  • are pregnant;

  • have epilepsy or a seizure history;

  • have cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, or a history of stroke or aneurysm;

  • have a history of panic disorder, psychosis, or severe mental health conditions;

  • have glaucoma, a recent surgery or injury, or any other condition your doctor has advised you to be cautious about,

unless you have first received approval from a qualified medical professional. This list is not exhaustive.

Always practise seated or lying down in a safe, comfortable place. Never practise breathwork while driving, operating machinery, in or near water, or in any situation where losing focus could cause harm. Stop immediately if you feel unwell, and seek medical help if needed.

Tapping and journalling. These practices may bring up difficult memories or feelings. You can pause or stop at any time. If you find that a topic is overwhelming, please seek support from a qualified professional.

By using the Platform you confirm that you have read this section and accept responsibility for deciding whether a practice is suitable for you.

4. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

Price changes. We may change the subscription price. We will give you at least [30] days' notice by email before a change applies to you. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

6. Cancelling anytime

  • We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing month, except where required by law or where stated in Section 7.

  • To avoid being charged for the next month, please cancel before your renewal date.

7. Refunds and your right to withdraw (EU / EEA and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the Platform provides digital content and services that become available immediately, you agree that:

  • by starting to use the Platform during the 14-day period, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately; and

  • you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided, or, for services, you may be asked to pay a proportionate amount for what you have used during the withdrawal period.

  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Contact community@pivotersclub.com within that period and we will refund it, no questions asked.

  • use our content to train AI models or for scraping or data mining.

9. Community features

Community spaces are for peer support and sharing, not professional help. Please respect other members' privacy and keep what is shared in the community confidential. We may remove content or members that breach these Terms or make the space unsafe.

10. Your content and journals

  • Any content you choose to share publicly or in community spaces, such as comments or posts, remains yours, but you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it for the purpose of running the Platform.

  • You are responsible for what you post and confirm that you have the right to share it.

  • Please keep in mind that no online storage is completely risk-free. Avoid recording information in the Platform that you would not be comfortable storing digitally.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including audio, video, text, guided practices, structures, branding and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial use for as long as your subscription is active. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

12. Privacy and data protection

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Because inner work can involve sensitive information about your wellbeing, we aim to collect only what is needed to provide the service. Where we process data you give us about your health or emotional state, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time through your account or by contacting community@pivotersclub.com. Withdrawing consent may mean that some features can no longer be provided.

13. Availability and changes to the Platform

We work to keep the Platform available and reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, add, or remove features or content, perform maintenance, or temporarily suspend access. If we make a change that significantly reduces the value of the service you paid for, you may cancel and we will refund any prepaid period affected by the change.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if you fail to pay, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first. If we close your account for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid, unused period. You may close your account at any time. After termination, your right to access paid content ends, and we will handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, such as reduced stress, emotional healing, or personal change. Individual experiences differ, and any testimonials or examples do not represent a promise of results. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties that are not expressly set out in these Terms.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill;

  • we are not liable for harm resulting from your decision to practise despite the health warnings in Section 3, or from not following the safety instructions given in a practice; and

  • our total liability to you arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the event giving rise to the claim.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Platform or the law. We will notify you of material changes by email or within the Platform at least [30] days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Platform after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any concern informally.

EU consumers: You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution resources, and in Finland you may contact the Consumer Advisory Service and the Consumer Disputes Board.

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Platform.

  • Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

  • No waiver: If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we give it up.

  • Assignment: We may transfer these Terms to another business as part of a sale or reorganisation. You may not transfer your account or rights without our consent.
